Not so bad | hippieheart's Blog

Well, maybe I overreacted a bit and got worked up, thinking that the next two weeks was going to be torture, with my son sick with another cold.  Maybe it's allergies.  Maybe it is a cold, but ~ knock on wood ~ doesn't seem to be half as bad as last time.  He slept through the night last night and yesterday, during the day, he wasn't so bad.  Sure, he seemed to want to nurse more than usual but, all in all, he seemed to not be suffering like he did the las time.  Thank goodness!

He's napping now which is good and bad.  I mean, he's napping ~ so that is good in itself.  But it is usually much better of he naps after lunch because he tends to sleep longer.  Maybe because he wakes up hungry.  But when a toddler is tired and ready for a nap, there isn't much you can do to push it back to a time that might seem more convenient to you.  You take what you can get and when you can get it.

Today is cold but the sun is out in full force.  Whenever the weather is nice, I feel more hopeful.  It is amazing to me how much weather influences my moods and my attitude.
